Matthew GIFFARD

Matthew was born about 1188 in Of, Awliscombe, Devonshire, England. Matthew's father was Roger GIFFORD and his mother was Anne BREWER. His paternal grandparents were Gervaise GIFFORD and Mrs-Gervaise GIFFARD; his maternal grandfather was William BREWER. He had five brothers named Robert, Philip, William, Walter and Bartholomew. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died after 1296.
