Robert was born in Seagrave, Leicestershire, England. Robert's father was Stephen *DE SEGRAVE and his mother was Rohesia *LE DESPENCER. He was an only child. He died in 1254 in Pons, Poitou, France.
‌Robert and Annbilia Anabell were married in a religious ceremony before 1231. They had a son named Nicholas.
