Giles was born about 1337 in Shepton, Somersetshire, England.1 Giles' father was Ralph DAUBENY and his mother was Alice MONTAGUE. His paternal grandparents were Elis DE DAUBNEY and Joan UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents were William DE MONTAGU and Elizabeth DE MONTFORT. He had two brothers named Philip Albini and Ralph Albini. He was the youngest of the three children. He died on June 24th, 1386.General Notes
