John was born on August 10th, 1607 in PENNINGTON CASTLE, CUMBERLAND CO., ENGLAND. John's father was Thomas TAYLOR and his mother was Margaret SWINDERBY. He was an only child. He died at the age of 50 in January 1658 in LANCASTER CO., VIRGINIA.General Notes
