Andrew was born in 1668 in COUNTY DOWN, ULSTER PROVINCE (DONEGAL), IRELAND.  Andrew's father was Alexander REID and his mother was Mme Sarah REID.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 83 in 1751 in ROCKFISH GAP, NELSON CO., VIRGINIA.

‌Andrew and Mme Sarah were married in a religious ceremony before 1693 in IRELAND.  They had a son named Andrew.
