John PITTMAN 
John was born in 1670 in SURRY CO., VIRGINIA. John's father was Thomas PITTMAN JR and his mother was Lynda GRAY. His paternal grandparents were Thomas PITTMAN CAPTAIN and Frances md. T. PITMAN; his maternal grandparents were William GRAY CAPTAIN and Mary Elizabeth JARRETT. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, William and Oliff. He was the youngest of the four children. He had three half-brothers named ROBERT, CHARLES and SAMUEL. He died at the age of 32 on September 14th, 1702 in LANCASTER CO., VIRGINIA.General Notes
