Elsie Kristine was born on September 12th, 1823 in Norre Tranders, Aalborg, Denmark and her baptism took place there on October 19th, 1823. Elsie Kristine's mother was Karen (Nisby) JENSEN (NEISBY). Her maternal grandparents were Jens CHRISTENSEN (NIESBEYE) and Anna ANDERSEN. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Poul, Christen, Jens, Jens Nielsen, Mary Ann, Johanne, Ane Kirstine, Ane Johanne, Mariane (Maria) and Ane Cathrine. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 84 on September 5th, 1908 in Manti, Sanpete, Utah. She was buried on September 8th, 1908 in Manti, Sanpete, UT.General Notes
