Eve was born about 1194 in Of Pembroke, Pembrokshire, Wales. Eve's father was William Marshall and her mother was Isabel Fitzgilbert. Her paternal grandparents were John Fitzgilbert and Sibilla (Sibyl) De Salisbury; her maternal grandparents were Richard Fitzgilbert and Eva (Aoife) McMurrough. She had five sisters named Maud (Matilda), Isabel, Joan, Isabel and Sibyl. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died before 1246 in England.-
