John MARTIN 
John was born in 1650 in Dover, Strafford, NH. John's father was John MARTIN and his mother was Hester ROBERTS. His paternal grandparents were Isaac or John MARTIN and Susan HEMERTIN; his maternal grandparents were Thomas ROBERTS and Rebecca HILTON. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Benjamin, Thomas, James, Mary, Martha and Lydia. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 54 on April 18th, 1704.-
