Elizabeth was born on July 31st, 1683 in Hatfield, Hampshire, Mass.. Elizabeth's father was Samuel Marsh and her mother was Mary ELLISON. Her paternal grandparents were John MARSH and Anne WEBSTER; her maternal grandmother was Mrs Thomasina ELLISON. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named Samuel, John, Thomas, Ebeneezer, Mary, Rachel, Grace, Mary, Hannah, Ruth, Mary and Sarah.
