William Sr MANGUM 
William Sr was born in 1706 in Albermarle Par., Isle of Wight, VA. William Sr's father was John MANGUM and his mother was Frances Silvester BENNETT. His paternal grandparents were John MANGUM and Mrs. MANGUM; his maternal grandfather was Richard BENNET. He was an only child. He died at the age of 38 on December 29th, 1744 in Orange Co, Greenville, NC.-
