Caleb HORTON

Caleb was born on December 23rd, 1687 in Southold, Suffolk, New York and his baptism took place in Cutchogue, Suffolk, New York.  Caleb's mother was Sarah HINES. He had a brother and three sisters, named Barnabas, Bethiah, Penelope and Bethia.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 84 on August 6th, 1772 in Roxbury, Chester, New York.  He was buried in Chester, Morris, New Jersey.
