Sigurd II was born about 0960 in Orkney, Scotland.  Sigurd II's father was Hlodver (Lodver) THORFINNSSON and his mother was Audna (Ethne) (Edna) KJARVALSSDATTER.  His paternal grandparents were Thorfinn Rollo (Brico) EINARSSON and Grelod DUNCANSDATTER; his maternal grandparents were Cearbhall (Kjarval) MACDUNGHAL and Mrs. Cearbhall MACDUNGHAL. He had a sister named Hvarflad (Svanlaug) (Nereid).  He was the older of the two children.  He died on April 23rd, 1014 in Battle Of Clontarf, Dublin, Ireland.
