Ebenezer was born in 1660 in Malden, Middlesex, MA and his baptism took place in February 1679 in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts. Ebenezer's father was Joseph Jr HILLS and his mother was Hannah SMITH. His paternal grandfather was Joseph HILL (HILLS). He had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, John, Samuel, Joseph, Hannah, Dorothy and Elizabeth.
