John Philip Ettlee

John Philip was born on July 24th, 1752 in Middletown, Dauphin, Pennsylvania.  John Philip's father was Gottlieb David Ettele (Ettelin or Ettly) and his mother was Anna Margaret Ettele. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Conrad, David, Christiana, Elisabeth Catherine and Anna Mary Maria.  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 68 on August 30th, 1820.
