Nicolaas De Sille

Nicolaas was born on June 13th, 1552 in Mechelen, Antwerp, Belgium.  Nicolaas' father was Nicolaas De Sille and his mother was Barbara Van Der Goes.  His paternal grandparents were Jasper De Sille and Isabeau Vivikin; his maternal grandparents were Airnaut Van Der Goes and Dorathea Van Hofstaeyen. He had four brothers and a sister, named Arnoldus, Nicasius, Adrianus, Johannes and Barbara.  He was the second youngest of the six children.
