His paternal grandparents were Robert De Ferrers (Ferrieres) and Margaret Peverel; his maternal grandparents were William De Braose and Bertha De Gloucester. He had two sisters named Agatha and Millicent. He was the oldest of the three children. He had a half-sister named Isabel. He died on September 22nd, 1247.-
