His paternal grandparents were Teunis Jansen COVERT COOVAARD and Barbara Janse Lucas; his maternal grandparents were Jan SPRONG and Ann Sonelaers. He had seven brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Abraham, Isaac, Lucas, Jacob, Tunis, John, Morris, Hannah, Barbara, Heleene and Bragon. He died on January 22nd, 1778 in Three Mile Run, Somerset, New Jersey.-
