William BARNEY

William was born on August 9th, 1779 in Brattleboro, Windham, VT. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named James, Martin, Joseph, Benjamin, David, John, Zelotes, Aaron, Miss, Rebecca, Rachel Marsh, Delilah, Celina and Cylinda.  He was the fourth oldest of the fifteen children.  He died at the age of 82 on November 8th, 1861.
