John BARNEY

John was born on July 17th, 1798 in Halifax, Windham, VT. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named James, Martin, William, Joseph, Benjamin, David, Zelotes, Aaron, Miss, Rebecca, Rachel Marsh, Delilah, Celina and Cylinda.  He was the third youngest of the fifteen children.  He died at the age of 32 in 1830.
