Alberic II was born in 1062 in Heddington, Essex, England.  Alberic II's father was Alberic De Vere and his mother was Beatrix Castellan.  His paternal grandparents were Alphonso De Vere and Katherine of Flanders; his maternal grandparents were Henry Castellan de Ghent and Sibylla Manasses. He had five brothers and a sister, named Geoffrey, Roger, Robert, William, Aubrey II and Roheise.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 79 on May 15th, 1141 in slain in London, England.  He was buried in Colne Priory, Earls Colne, Essex, England.

They had two sons and three daughters, named Sir Robert, Aubrey III, Rohese, Juliane and Alice.
