Roger was born about 1174 in Winchester, Hampshire, England.  Roger's father was Saher IV de Quincey and his mother was Margaret de Bellomont.  His paternal grandparents were Robert de Quincy and Orbella Orbillus de Lechars; his maternal grandparents were Robert 'Blanchmains' Harcourt de Bellomont and Petronella de Grentmesnil. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Reginald, Robert, Lorette, Beatrice, Arabella and Lady Hawyse.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  He died on April 25th, 1264 in Brackley, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

They had three daughters named Margaret, Elizabeth Isabel and Ela.


Roger's second family with Countess of Pembroke Maud

They had a daughter named Alianore.
