Desideree was born about 1269 in Leyburne, Kent, England. Desideree's father was William de Leyburne and her mother was Julianne de Sandwich. Her paternal grandparents were Roger de Leyburne and Idoine de Vipont; her maternal grandparents were Henry De Sandwich and Joan D'Auberville. She had a brother and a sister, named Thomas and Idonea. She was the oldest of the three children. She died after 1329.-
