August Witty 
August was born on February 16th, 1882 in Nicollet, Minnesota. August's father was Henrich (Henry) Witty and his mother was Maria (Mary) Hardt. His paternal grandparents were Frederick Witty and Mary; his maternal grandparents were Fred Hardt and Amanda or Amelia. He had a brother and four sisters, named Frank, Mary Johanna, Emme (Emma), Anna Christine and Ida (Eda). He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 56 on March 28th, 1938 in Spokane, Washington.General Notes
