Mettje Soorholz

Mettje was born on February 23rd, 1795 in Flachsmeer, Ostfriesland, Germany.  Mettje's father was Claas Reinders Soorholz and her mother was Foelke Berends.  Her paternal grandparents were Reiner Classen Soorholz and Wobke Janssen. She had three brothers named Engel, Berend and Engel.  She was the oldest of the four children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Reinder Claasson, Loert Claasson, Berte Claasson, Claas Classen, Wobke Claasson, Lauert Claasson and Wobke Claasson.  She died at 4 months old on July 4th, 1795 in Flachsmeer, Ostfriesland, Germany.
