George Morton 
George was born about 1735. George's father was William Morton and his mother was Ann Mothershead. His paternal grandparents were John Morton and Deborah; his maternal grandparents were George Mothershead and Mary Quisenberry. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Elijah, Joseph H., Jeremiah, Jane, Elizabeth, Mary and Ann. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
