Sir Thomas was born about 1431 in Sefton, Lancastershire, England. Sir Thomas' father was Sir Richard Molyneux and his mother was Joan Hagdon Haydock. His paternal grandparents were Richard Molyneux and Elinore Urswick. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Sir Richard, John, Robert, Henry, Gilbert, Edmund, William, Robert, Catherine, Genett and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He had two half-sisters named Anne and Margaret. He died about 1511.-
