Beatrix was born about 1255 in Duffus, Stirling, Scotland. Beatrix's father was Reginald Le Cheyne. Her paternal grandfather was Bernard Le Cheyne. She had a brother named Laird Reginald. She was the older of the two children. Beatrix is no longer alive.
They had two sons named Simon and Alexander John.
