Thomas Knowlton 
Thomas was born in 1582 in Canterbury, Kent, England. Thomas' father was Richard Knowlton and his mother was Elizabeth Cantize. His paternal grandfather was William Knowlton; his maternal grandparents were Valentin Cantize and Johana Holden. He had three brothers named George, Stephen and Capt. William.
