III was born about 0960. III's father was King of Alba and Scotland Dhubh. His paternal grandfather was I Malcolm. He had a brother named King of Strathclyde. He was the older of the two children. He died on March 25th, 1005 in Battle of Monzievaird, killed by Malcolm II.-
