Katherine Gascoigne 
Katherine was born in 1520 in Lasingcroft, Yorkshire, England. Katherine's father was John Gascoigne and her mother was Anne Vavasour. Her paternal grandparents were William XIV Gascoigne and Margaret Kighley; her maternal grandparents were John Vavasour and Cicely Langdale. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, John, Robert, William, George, Richard, Frances, Elizabeth, Alice, Grace and Agnes. She was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.-
