Edmund

Edmund was born in 0873. Edmund's father was Alfred the Great and his mother was Ealhswith (Alswitha) of the Gaini. His paternal grandparents were King of England Æthelwulf and Osburger (Osburga). He had two brothers and three sisters, named Edward the, King of the Saxons, Æfthryth Ethelswida, Æthelflaed and Abbess of Shaftesbury. He was the third youngest of the six children.
