Sir Geoffrey Dutton 
Sir Geoffrey was born about 1122 in Dutton, Cheshire, England. Sir Geoffrey's father was Hugh FitzOdard and his mother was Alice Pichard. His paternal grandparents were Lord of Dutton Odard and Alice De Dutton; his maternal grandfather was Sir Nicholas Pichard. He had three brothers and a sister, named Roger, Thomas, Hugh and Adam. He was the oldest of the five children.General Notes
In about 1150, Dutton Hall was built by Sir Geoffrey de Dutton next to the Weaver River. It survived on that site, in one form or another, until 1933, when it was moved. The site is now a stud farm. The direct male line from Odard survived until 1665.
