Robert II L'Arbetot was born in 1092 in Arbetot, Normandy, France. Robert II L'Arbetot's father was Roger II de Montgomery and his mother was Mabel Talvas d'Alencon. His paternal grandparents were Roger I de Montgomery and Josceline De Ponteaudemer; his maternal grandparents were William "Talvas" and Hadeburge de Beaumont. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Hughes, Philip, Roger 'Le Poitevin', Arnulph, Mathilde Maud, Emma, Mabel and Sybil. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 39 on May 8th, 1131 in Lincolnshire, England.General Notes
