Roger De Somery

Roger was born about 1178. Roger's father was Ralph de Somery and his mother was Margaret Mareschal. His paternal grandparents were John de Somery and Hawise de Paynell; his maternal grandparents were John "le Mareschal" fitz Gilbert and Sybil d'Evereaux. He had two brothers and a sister, named Ralph II, William Perceval and Joan. He was the second youngest of the four children.
