John Beckwith

John was born about 1645 in New London, Connecticut. John's father was Matthew Beckwith and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Lynde. His paternal grandparents were Marmaduke Beckwith and Ann Dynley. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Matthew, Joseph, Nathaniel, Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the seven children.
