Isabel was born about 1174 in Pembroke,Pembrokeshire,Wales.1   Isabel's father was Richard Strongbow FitzGilbert de Clare Earl and her mother was Eva McMurrough Countess of Ireland.  Her paternal grandparents were Gilbert de Clare and Isabel de Beaumont; her maternal grandparents were Dermot of Leinster King and More O'Toole.  She was an only child.  She died in 1220 in Pembroke,Wales.1

‌Isabel and William were married in a religious ceremony in August 1189 in London,England.1   They had two daughters named Sibyl and LIVING.

‌Isabel and William were married in a religious ceremony in August 1189 in London.3   They had a son and nine daughters, named Gilbert VII Earl of Pembroke, Maud "Matilda", Eve, Joane, Isabel, Sibyl, Sibyl, Sibyl, Sybil and Isabel.
