Alphonso II was born in Mayor del Valle,Spain.1 Alphonso II's father was Raymond IV de Berengar and his mother was Pertonilla de Aragon. His paternal grandparents were Raymond III Berengar and Dulce de Gievaudun. He was an only child. He died on April 25th, 1196 in Perpipgan,France.
