Her paternal grandparents were *John Whitney and *Elizabeth Smith; her maternal grandparents were Zerubbabel Hoyt and Hannah Knapp. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Hezehika, Joseph, David, Abraham, Hannah and Elizabeth. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died in New Cannan,Fairfield,CT.-
