David Ross was born on November 26th, 1903 in Muncie,,Indiana. David Ross' father was Maxwell William Thompson and his mother was Neva Burrey. His paternal grandparents were James M. Thompson and Mary Stang; his maternal grandparents were John Burrey and Alice Mary Miller. He had a sister, and also a sibling of unknown gender named Virginia and Unknown.
