Neal H. Sloan 
Neal H. was born in 1870. Neal H.'s father was William Harrison Sloan and his mother was Sarah E. Weathers. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Neal Sloan and Mary Eads; his maternal grandparents were Henderson Weathers and Elizabeth Alspaw. He had five brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Luther, Clark, John E., Sherman, Joe, Eva, Elzena (Rebecca), Ella Mae and Joseph E.. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 15 in 1885. He was buried in Marengo,Crawford County,Indiana.-
