Nancy A. was born in 1843. Nancy A.'s father was William Levi Scales and her mother was Mariah Powers. Her paternal grandparents were William Scales and Mary Skelton; her maternal grandparents were Isaac H. Powers and Abigail Davis. She had three brothers and a sister, named Isaac Jackson, John A., George T. and Hannah Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the five children. She died about 1877.-
