Nelson R. E. Rector 
Nelson R. E. was born on December 25th, 1834 in Vigo County,Indiana. Nelson R. E.'s father was John Preston Rector and his mother was Catherine Price. His paternal grandparents were George Rector and Nancy Anne Atkinson; his maternal grandparents were John H. Price and Elizabeth Mayberry. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named George, John Price, William Henry Harrison, Enoch Mabury, Wheaton Bolivar, James Monroe, Albert Van Buren, Charles Prentice, Nancy Ann, Julia Ann and Emily. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 18 on March 27th, 1853 in Vigo County,Indiana.-
