John Price Rector 
John Price was born on December 9th, 1816 in Knox County,Indiana. John Price's father was John Preston Rector and his mother was Catherine Price. His paternal grandparents were George Rector and Nancy Anne Atkinson; his maternal grandparents were John H. Price and Elizabeth Mayberry. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named George, William Henry Harrison, Enoch Mabury, Wheaton Bolivar, James Monroe, Nelson R. E., Albert Van Buren, Charles Prentice, Nancy Ann, Julia Ann and Emily. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 60 on August 14th, 1877 in Clay County,Indiana. He was buried in Oak Hill Cemetary,Vigo County,Indiana.General Notes
