Charles (Sr.) Prewit 
Charles (Sr.) was born in 1757 in VA. Charles (Sr.)'s father was *David I Prewitt. His paternal grandparents were *Richard (Sr) Prewitt and *Frances Murrel. He had six brothers named Richard, William, John, *David II, Elijah and Samuel. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died before 1830 in Roane,TN.-
