Malena Caroline Powers 
Malena Caroline was born on March 2nd, 1856. Malena Caroline's father was George Powers and her mother was Sarah Ann Scales. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Powers and Levina LeMasters; her maternal grandfather was John Scales. She had five brothers and a sister, named Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, Louis Martin, Melvin Adophus (Dolph), Ernest Adrain and Laura Alice. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 68 in 1924. She was buried in Freedom Cem. Indiana.-
