Martha was born about 1784 in Greenville Co.,Sc. Martha's father was Hugh III McVay and her mother was Martha Langston. Her paternal grandparents were Unknown , Jr. McVay and Ruth; her maternal grandparents were John Langston and Elizabeth Parsons. She was an only child. She died on April 4th, 1864 in Pickens Co.,Sc.-
