Amanda Etta May 
Amanda Etta was born in 1873 in Lucas County,Iowa. Amanda Etta's father was John May and her mother was Hannah Cinthia White. Her paternal grandparents were Peter May and Rachel Booth; her maternal grandparents were John White and Missilva Johnston. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John William, Albert D., Paris Dell, Mary Alice and Sarah Ann. She was the third youngest of the six children. She had a half-brother named James Madison. She died at the age of 68 in 1941 in Dawson County,Nebraska.-
