Joane (Isabel) De was born about 1194 in Of,Elmley,Worcestershire,England.  Joane (Isabel) De's father was Roger De MORTIMER and her mother was Millicent De FERRERS.  Her paternal grandparents were Hugh De MORTIMER and Maud (Matilda) De MESCHINES; her maternal grandparents were Walkelin (William) De FERRIERES [Seigneur of Fer [Seigneur and Sybil De BRAOSE. She had a brother and two sisters, named Hugh De, Miss De and Miss De.  She was the second youngest of the four children. She had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Ralph De, Hugh De, Roger, Robert De, Philip and Joan De.  She died in 1268.
