James HAMMOND

James' baptism took place on August 17th, 1823 in Arkesden,Essex,England.  James' father was Thomas HAMMOND and his mother was Sarah.  His paternal grandparents were William HAMMOND and Elizabeth EVERETT. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William, Thomas, Elizabeth, Etty, Hannah, Mary Ann and Sarah.
